I need to get out and test out a new revolver, do a comparison shoot of two 1911's, and of course, shoot a my G17 this week.
Anyone in Houston want to go to the 59 Gun Range one day/night?
If you don't know the place, it is on 59 near Hopper Rd. Not the best neighborhood, but I always go prepared! :)
It's cheap shooting at $7/per person.

It's about 15 miles from me but it's cheap and they let me go about my business.

Yeah I shoot at one on the southeast side of town right near where I work, same thing, I've gone enough so they don't mind me "practicing" stuff other ranges don't like (rapid fire, holster draw, etc).
Wouldn't mind having a little mini shooting meet some time or something, but this is too short notice :)

$7 per person?! Man! That's cheap! Too bad I'm in Dallas.

It's not the nicest part of town. I recommend only CHL holders go there if you know what I mean :)

I know a few areas of Dallas the same way. Thankfully I AM a CHL holder.

I'm only 10 minutes away from there.

I went there to shoot one time, but decided not to stay. In the parking lot, I was wishing that they made a Lewis Lead Remover for your lungs.
Marksman range in South Houston is the same kind of price ... but a whole lot cleaner.

You're right. It's not the cleanest.... When I go to the range by myself, it's just for a half hour or so.
