View Full Version : M&P 40c
Just finished this Smith & Wesson M&P 40c (.40 Smith & Wesson) I stippled the back strap magazine floor plate and front strap in a lizard skin texture it has a very nice feel in the hand. I polished the trigger components to smooth out the trigger, I also made the necessary adjustments to reduce the trigger over travel and shorten the trigger reset. The trigger pull was reduced to 4.5 lb pull. I re finished the slide, barrel, slide stop, takedown lever, trigger pin and locking block pin in a Nickel Teflon (NP3) coating. Front cocking serrations were added to facilitate press checking the pistol.

That looks so sweet.
Roneye- That pistol turned out very nice! Are those stock sights?
Thanks Mike, they are stock sights made by Novak

Very nice.
The only thing I would change are the Novaks. Having a rear sight which cannot be used for one handed loading on a carry gun is something I will never understand or agree with.
I agree Martin, there isnt a whole lot out there right now though. The gun is still very new, I am hoping to see more sight offerings soon...

Who did the NP3? Robar? If so, was it the Norton Special?

Sorry, I re-read your post and figured out that you refinished the slide in NP3.
Roneye, your gun looks very nice!!
