I have had my MK9 for about 3 years and have had mag issues with it since the beginning. The mags wouldn't retain the rounds. First I noticed it when ejacting a mag and the top round would come loose and roll out of the grip after the mag.
So i contacted Kahr, Dottie sent out new followers. That has worked mostly, but now it's starting again. Are these followers already worn out after -2000 rnds???
My 7 rnds mag has gotten particularly bad. It will eject rnds while in the mag holder on my belt. it will also do it with enough force to work the mag up in the holder to make room for the loose rounds.
Yesterday I went to the range had had the 7 rnd mag in the mag pouch for 2 hrs, drew it slammed it home closed the slide and "CLICK" Ejected and it was empty. ALL SEVEN ROUNDS WERE LOOSE IN THE MAG POUCH.
Things I should have noticed but didn't cause I was running a drill. Thought about it later though. 1. when I reached for the mag it was sitting way high in the pouch, about 2/3 the way out of it. 2. Mag was definetly lighter then loaded.
STILL, had I really been in trouble I wouldn't have noticed those differences anyways in the heat of the moment.
I loaded the 7 rnd mag again late last night and left it sitting on the table, every 5-8 minutes with no one touching it, just sitting there, it would loose a round onto the table. Now combine that with the motion of walking and it problly unloaded itself in the first 30 mins.
