How do these two guns compare to each other size wize? Weight fully loaded? is the Kahr's concealment over the glock worth the reduction in bullets. I own a g19 And find it hard to conceal and a little uncomfortable in the smartcarry. I was thinking of going with the mk9 but I thought why not the P9? Can someone please post pics of the two together? Does the 4.5" in height for the P9 include the baseplate? Thanks guys.
I am a new guy here on kahr club btw. I did own a pm9 a couple of years ago. It was flawless, a little snappy, overall a great gun. :wavey:

I am asking for granted you mean a TP9. I can give you numbers for the poly pistols, but do not own a Glock 19 to show pics. If you go to the steel MK then you are not in a comparison with the G19.
Comparisons:
TP9
4.00 barrel
6.5 length
4.5 Height
0.90 width
18 oz weight
1.9 mag weight
25 oz (estimated)Loaded weight based on weight of 8 rounds)
7+1 (or 8+1 or 10 +1 capacity)
G19
4.09 Barrel
6.85 length
5.0 height
1.18 width
21 oz weight
2.46 mag weight
30 ox loaded weight
15+1 capacity (or 17/19/33)
However, most reports are that there is not a significant difference between accuracy of a TP9 and a P9, so P9 comparisons
P9
3.5 Barrel
5.8 length
4.5 Height
0.90 Width
15.8 oz weight
1.9 mag
22.7 loaded weight (estimated)
7+1 capacity (or 8+1 or 10 +1)
Lets add in the PM9 for comparison (as accurate as my TP9 at this point in my ownership):
3.0 barrel
5.3 length
4.0 Height
14.0 oz weight
1.9 mag
19.9 Loaded weight (estimated based on 7 rounds)
6+1 capacity (or 7 or 8+1 or 10+1)
The trade off here clearly is capacity vs weight (5-10 oz and size 1.85 in length and 1.0 in height in the most extreme comparison. I carry the PM9 in most circumstances as I want the most concealable pistol possible. The most critical points are concealability and the first 3-5 shots IMHO.
Others, please feel free to correct my numbers if you differ.

Is the height on the P9 measured from the top of the sight to the bottom of the 7rd base plate or the bottom of the grip?
