I want to shoot .357 Sig on and off and I have a new Glock 23; who makes a 'drop in' barrel for the G23? Will G23 mags feed .357 Sig?Thanks...

Glock.
I have just the opposite set up on my G32. I bought a factory G23 barrel and a couple of G23 .40 SW mags for it and it works great. The G23 mags will probally shoot the .357 fine but with new mag prices so low I decided to just buy a few dedicated to the conversion. Plus you can never tell what the next round of "gun grabbers" may due with legislation! good luck
I've done the same:
I've got a 23 and bought a Glock 32 barrel for it. I use the same 23 mags for both cartridges. No probs.
How much of a difference is there between .40 and .357? Is it really noticeable?

I have a stock G32 barrel for my Glock 23. I like it pretty good, I love the fact that it has 100% chamber support. Now, I still prefer the .40 overall, but the 357 SIG is a good choice when I want light and fast.

So, you can drop in a stock G32 bbl into your G23 to shoot the 357 Sig round, and do NOTHING ELSE?¿ Is this correct?
I've been thinking about buying a 23 just for this reason.

ETA: This is NOT some type of "conversion" bbl, correct?
Mine functions fine and all I did was swap the factory barrel to whatever caliber I wanted to shoot. Just find some way of "making sure" you use the right barrel + ammo combination. Try some gear marking paint or something. I don't know what would happen if you chambered a .357 sig round in the .40 barrel but it might be bad. The .40 probally won't load in the .357 barrel due to the headspacing.

Nailshooter, the barrel is a standard Glock 32 barrel, so it is NOT a conversion barrel, even though it does convert the Glock 23 haha.
I took a white crayola and colored in the "357" on the top of the barrel that way I can look down and easily see that the 357 barrel is in.
