I've been thinking about getting one of these guys and wonder if anyone has had any experience with them?

My wife has a T9 with Novak night sights that she lets me shoot sometimes if I've done all my chores. It is a sweet pistol. The grip fits in the hand very well. The trigger is the same as other Kahrs of course and it's really just a longer and taller K9. Very accurate too.

I also bought a T9 for my wife to keep at home..good trigger, good weight..lower recoil that being said..I shoot it alot nice pistol very accurate. I understood that the T9 has the "Elite" trigger in them to help justify the price.

I've had one for a few years. Sweet shooting gun and very, very accurate. I stumbled upon mine. My dealer got it in by mistake and was getting ready to send it back. He told me I could have it for cost. I took it.

Very nice, very accurate and very reliable. It has been 100% reliable but I bought it used so not sure of the number of rounds since new. If you like the Kahr triggers you could do far worse than the T9. For comparison, I also have a similarly sized S&W 908 but won't carry it unless I get the DAO modification since I hate slide mounted safeties. I prefer the Kahr T9 over the 908. I carry my PM9 or K9 since they are slightly more concealable and carry T9 mags as spares.

OK, you're the person I would ask. Have you tried your T-9 barrel and slide on your K-9 frame? It would make an interesting combo.

Yes and No on the K9/T9 slide combo. The slide stops and frame cut-outs on the K9 and T9 are different however, the slide stops and frame cut-outs on the MK9 and T9 appear to be the same.

I was able to trial fit the T9 slide onto the K9 frame but had to use the K9 slide stop. The combo appeared to work until any K9 or T9 mag (empty of course) was inserted at which time the slide would hang up. The mag (empty of course) had to be withdrawn in order to return the slide to battery. It did not appear to be a functional possibility.

I was able to piece together a potentially functional pistol when I trial fit the T9 slide on the MK9 frame. It did not look like a good combo as the forward frame (dustcover) was not long enough and left 1/2 inch or more of the guide rod and recoil spring exposed. I have NOT and would NOT try this combination in any live-fire exercise. This exercise was purely for my own amusement.

I also observed that the MK9 and T9 share similar take-down reference marks on their slides/frames. The K9 has no marks and has a slightly different slide stop removal procedure.

Like you, a steel TP9 (TK9?) interests me but alas, Kahr hasn't built one yet.

I have a T9 with the MMC sights and love it. Never have had FTF or FTE of any kind. I installed hexhead screws on the wood grips and like the look. It has a great DAO trigger and shoots very well.

Thanks airrascal, it seemed like a good idea. Perhaps Kahr could call it the T-9 Compact or something.
I have an E9 and K9 with the hope of adding a T9 to my collection at some point.
