His claim was that the agency released the videotape publicly, and that subjected him to public ridicule and psychological trauma.

In the complaint he also described himself as one of the best drug agents.

All police shootings are tragedies, and this one was no exception to that. However, in light of his comments before and after the shooting, the fact that only his foot was injured "Deputy Barney Fife style", and his frivilous lawsuit against the government, that particular drug agent sure seems to have set himself up as the butt of a lot of nationwide cop humor. :drillsgt:

The sad thing is that he really may have been a damned good DEA agent. But he was a lousy gun handler. I've known a few EXCELLENT police officers, the kind that I'd love to have at any incident that did not require unholstering the firearm.
