3.5# Connector Prices

I just did a search for a Glock manufactured 3.5 lb. connector. Here are the results less shipping.

Why is there such a difference in prices for the same Glock manufactured item?

I was talking to a certified Glock armorer just yesterday on this subject. I wanted to have him replace the 5# with a 3.5# and do other work on my pistol. He called Glock to get a price and was told by Glock that they are no longer selling the 3.5# connector to consumers in the states. He told me that the suppliers that
have them either have leftover stock that they bought when prices
were lower or they are ordering directly from Europe at higher prices. It sounds strange, but I've seen this happen with other companies. Items that were once available in the U.S. from foreign
manufacturers can now only be ordered from main offices overseas.
I just ordered one from CDNN and I noticed that they don't carry
much in Glock parts. Either they have old stock they are trying
to unload to reduce the number of items they stock or they bought
up a bunch of connectors when they were cheap. $9.99 is a great
price but I thought it funny that you can buy 5# and 8# connectors
everywhere for $2 to $4 bucks. But that's supply and demand. From
all the discussions on this forum, the 3.5# connector is really popular.
Any other opinions?

Shipping costs need to be figured in as well, for example CDNN charges a $9.99 flat rate.

Yes, dont forget shipping. But still $9.99 plus $9.99 is still cheaper than $15 to $25 for a 3.5# connector plus $8 to $10 for fed ex or around $11 for u.p.s. ground. Also for the same shipping price
I ordered an extra Glock cleaning brush and speed loader. Those
were around the same price as other places, give or take a couple
of bucks.

Search for the thread by 5532jwk. He sells the Glock 3.5# connector for $16 shipped. I picked one up from him last year for the same price.

Retail in Germany is Euro 4.10 for any connector. Go figure who makes the $$$$$.
