View Full Version : Cw 40 Update
Well, another range session and another flawless 50 rounds! I am amazed at the accuracy each time I practice and now have 350 rounds downrange with zero malfunctions. Anyone who is on the fence should consider renting one and trying it out. Very pleased so far! Have a Grandfather Oak IWB holster that is very comfortable even without an undershirt.

350 is enough rounds to tell... Are you gonna think about getting a Hogue Handall Jr to aid with the grip?
I have about the same number of rounds through mine as well.
I've found that the grip is the perfect "length", that is front-to-back. But, being a single stack, it's a tad skinny. Not unmanageable, though.
Also, pay attention to your mag followers. Look down the thread for a thread I started about follower breakage.

I have not considered the Hardball Jr. grips, but will look at them. I am fine with the grip as is though. I have inspected the mag follower and see no problems. I take it you are pretty pleased with yours so far? I was a little worried about trying anything besides a Glock or Smith after putting up with a Kel Tec 380 that was a lemon right out of the box. Luckily the Kahr has been the total opposite. I am very happy with it so far!

I do like mine... All except for the muzzle flip! But, it IS a .40 caliber in a small package. It's definitely not a target pistol, and nothing that I want to shoot more than 50-60 rounds through at each range session.
BUT, the price was right, it's very very easily concealable, and extremely light. Decent amount of firepower in its small package, too.
I was able to buy extra mags. at Sportsmans Warehouse for $25 apiece...instead of $40-something from Kahr.

Are they factory Kahr mags? I have been told to stay away from anything else.
I ordered a spare mag from Kahr weeks ago, and still have not received it!
My question is-do they work?

Yes, factory Kahr mags...
And yes, they do work flawlessly.
