View Full Version : Extended Slide Stop Lever on LaserMax?

Has anyone used one of these (http://glockparts.com/?mainURL=/store/item/ghae/Mag_Catches_and_Slide_Stop_Levers/Extended_Slide_Stop_Lever.html)? I've got a LaserMax on my G19--which obviously replaces the factory slide release. It's a pain sometime releasing the slide.

... So is this piece a) compatible with the LaserMax? and b) effective?

I have the Glock Stock extended slide stop levers on all my Glocks. I love 'em. I have no idea if they'll work with a Lasermax or not.

What does an extended or otherwise Slide stop lever have to do with a LaserMax? The laser replaces the recoil spring assembly and is activated by the replacement Slide lock. Am I missing something?

Call Lasermax. I have the same setup as you. They have a redesigned slide release. They sent mine in less than 5 days.

PLS forgive me if I am wrong,BUT......

Are ya'll confuseing the slide lock spring and/or the slide lock, with the slide stop lever ????????????

The Glock manual describes it as the slide lock, but now I'm thinking what they changed was the slide lock spring. The Lasermax slide lock can be pushed in from either side to turn on the laser.

Short term memory loss is a *****. Anyway, call Lasermax and ask them to send you the new part if you have the laser.
