View Full Version : Long wait for 21SF
I was told up to 6 weeks wait for a 21SF.
Ordered 4 weeks ago!
I suppose I have been all my life without a 45, or a major caliber for that matter.

Ian, I picked one up today at one of our local gun shops. Then I went to the gun show today and picked up 3 more mags for it. Can't wait to get to the range this week and see what she'll do. Price was 601.00. A little high than the others I've seen but at least I have one now.

Wow! $601 is indeed pretty pricey! I picked up my G21SF last month for $531 out the door (no sales tax here in Oregon :) ).
Either way, the 21SF is one heck of a fine .45ACP pistol. :hearts:

I was eyeing the 21sf at my local gun shop. When I decided that I wanted it, somebody beat me to it and had purchased it earlier that day. The store tried to order one for several weeks with no luck, so I got it online from Mark at www.summitgunbroker.com I had a great experience with the transaction and have referred several people his way.

they have IN STOCK and i think it was $515, could be mistaken...i really really like the 21sf, and am going to buy one from her
i will never go anywhere else...she even beats gunbroker from time to time
Don't waste your money if you already have a standard G21. Unless you can't live without amb. mag release. The grip is not worth the extra cash. IMHO. buy more ammo and practice more with your standard G21.
Thanks all. I will pick mine up on Saturday!
GMAN40 Not sure if you were talking to me, but this will be my first ever 45.
I have always wanted one, but was so used to Glocks, that I didn't want to change years of training and get a 1911.
The 21 is a little too thick, and the GAP seemed to be a compromise.
Also my wife is a lefty, so it will benefit her as well. (maybe, maybe not, cos she is really quick with her trigger finger on the mag release. I find it easier with my weak hand middle though!)
Have a good weekend all.
I will let you know what we think on Monday.
