What ammo do you use that is fairly "clean" and at a decent price? By clean, I mean less powder residue and less corrosive. Thanks for any input.

I have found Blazer Brass to be clean and cheap. Costs $9 and some change for 50 rounds.

Cool, where do you get that at?
Federal makes a line of "clean ammo" and winchester makes "winclean" I've shot the federal .40 sw, but the winclean i've only seen in .357 rem mag.

My local WalMart carries it. It is 180 grain FMJ and has thus far performed well. I want to say it is $9.27 + tax.

In "standard" ammo, I've found CCI Blazer in both brass and/or, aluminum versions to be the cleanest shooting stuff around. The various brands of designated "clean" ammo designed for indoor range use ("WinClean", "CleanFire", etc.) is good as well but I find it only marginally cleaner than regular blazer and a good deal more expensive.

+1
That's all I try to shoot in my G23. Cheapest, cleanest ammo I've found (even online).
I too, like the CCI Cleanfire. Shooting a G17C with WWB, it gets dirty plenty fast, but with CCI, everything stays alot cleaner alot
longer. In fact, doesnt Glock use CCI for test firing on some of there production pistols? My Glock came with 2 spent CCI aluminum cases.

My 23 came with aluminum CCI casings as well.
I should have added that I shoot the CCI Blazer Brass, not the regular aluminum Blazer.
I don't order ammo online because once you add in the shipping its not a cheap as buying from Wally World.
Even Wolf online isn't as cheap as the Blazer Brass at Wally World.
I like the brass too. Heck, I like it all, just as long as it goes
BANG!

I use CCi Blazer. It's cheap and clean, as requested. I usually pick mine up at WalMart for abour 20 bucks per 100 rd box. I also peruse local gun shows and got lucky once scoring 500 rds for 85!! The guy originally wanted 100, but I bought two polycarbonate "letter openers" and two magazines from him, so he didnt argue when I offered him 80. He just upped it to 85 and off I went with a pooh eating grim on my face. Needless to say, there were some very unhappy targets in the trash of my local range that week!

I buy several cases at a time from Natchez.
