We have been informed that there will be NO GUNS ALLOWED at the Boomtown Gun Show in Reno May 11, 12 & 13. What are we supposed to do? Go in and talk about guns?? I will have contact info a little later but I have been informed it is the show promoter that has taken this stand and not Boomtown. I'll post the contact numbers as soon as the SFA website is back up and running.

Sorry I was informed wrong IT IS BOOMTOWN!

This is from the Michigan Gun Owners website. So here we are the laughing stock of the country. You guys in Vegas better jump on this too. This affects you too. Write emails, phone calls, letters to the editors etc. This sucks big time. Boycott Boomtown. Time to take off the gloves and get nasty. Idiots!

JPFO ALERT: A Gun Show Without Guns?

After reading an advertisement for a Reno, NV gun show in a firearms magazine, William D. Maniaci, owner of Maccabee Arms LTD (www.MaccabeeArms.com) purchased two tables for the event, which was to be held at the Boomtown Hotel and Casino.

Like many firearms dealers, he invested heavily in stock to be sold at the show.

Last week he received a letter stating that "In light of the recent unfortunate incident at Virginia Tech," firearms would not be allowed to be displayed or sold at the show.

That's right -- the "gun show" is now a "sporting goods and accessories" show.

Understandably upset, Mr. Maniaci is urging all Second Amendment supporters to boycott all enterprises owned by Boomtown's parent company, Pinnacle Entertainment Inc. You can read the full letter by Mr. Maniaci, including a list of all of Pinnacle Entertainment's holdings, at www.jpfo.org/maniaci.htm .

Read the letter and make note of these businesses. As Mr.
Maniaci points out, "There are plenty of other hotels and casinos who are not anti-gun. Why should we patronize anti-gun establishments?"

Why indeed?

True but you guys should be really pissed about this too! It affects all of us. Sure we have Crossroads of the West and the BIG SHOW in Reno but the Boomtown show was an up and coming nice show. More local dealers and gun stuff of interest to Nevada gun owners. Man this is just disgusting.:steamed:
