I got a flyer stuck on my door today from Dwight Evans, urging me to vote for him because he will improve education in Philadelphia. If that's his platform, he should really hire a competent proof reader. Here is one of his incoherent run on sentences, complete with bold type:

"He fought for Philadelphia's kids in the state legislature with over $30 million in increased funding for the families in our community have a choice of where they want to send their kids to school because Dwight Evans was front and center leading the legislative fight to introduce charter schools to the Philadelphia independent academic audits verified that academic ratings went up since the addition of 56 charter schools."

Well done, Dwight.

I wish folks who live outside the city, Who pay high fees to work in the city should get the right to vote.

That city is now the murder capitol and I just want to see a positive change.

I like how Michael Nutter's door-hanger thing listed "expanded stop-and-frisk powers" (to the police) as a positive plank of his campaign. :rofl:
