Hi All,
I recently purchased a Kahr PM9 for concealed carry and I'm trying hard to avoid accumulating the drawer full of holsters that I've heard so much about.

I've read a lot of the great reviews of different pocket carry holsters, but two that stand out for me are the Desantis Nemesis, and the Mitch Rosen Pocket Softy.

I really want to get the best thing for the job, and I'm not against paying for real quality, but is the Mitch Rosen really better than the Desantis, and if so, is it worth the $80 or so dollar difference?

Thanks in advance,

Gov

For $20.50 as stated on Desantis's website, I think the Nemesis does a very good job for pocket carry with my PM9. I also have a K&D leather pocket holster as well.... for what it's worth, I find myself using the Nemesis for pocket carry the most. But truth be known, I pocket carry rarely now since I've found some excellent IWB holsters.

I pocket carry my Kel Tec P32 in a Nemesis. I'd suggest buying one of those first and see how you like it. If you like it, it's 20 bucks well spent.

If you don't then maybe buy the other one, although I can't see spending THAT much on a pocket holster.

I'd bet you'll like the Nemesis just fine.

I have several pocket holsters for my PM9. The ones I use the most are the DeSantis and Grandfather Oak Pocket Companion. (http://www.grandfatheroak.com/Stockdesigns.html) They may not have the flash and style of a $115 holster, but they work great and I have no complaints.

I carry my PM9 in a Nemisis and I like it very well. The only other pocket holsters I use are the smaller nemisis for a P3AT and an Uncle Mikes for a Smith & Wesson snub-nose 38 cal. "Bodyguard".

Thanks to everyone for the replies. It sounds like I should just go with the Nemesis and save my money for a nice IWB.

+1 on the Nemesis. I have one for the PM9 and KT 3AT, it makes an excellent pocket holster.

It's denoted by a stitched rib that runs along the front leading edge of the rig. It reinforces it on slide side. My older rig tended to have the stabilizer flap folding up and shifting the rig after only a few mos. This new one seems to have cured that.

.gov/cheese,

Here's something to consider.
Why spend more than $20 on a holster nobody's gonna see??
Especially if it works!!
That said, I have the aformentioned Desantis holster and it works just fine!!

Would someone post a pic of your gun in the holster? I just bought a CW9 and I am looking for a nice holster to carry with dress slacks.

Thanks,
