Frustrated again.
I got an A&G grip extender to allow me to carry Glock 22 15 round mags in my Glock 23 (CCW). So I install the darn extender tightening down the allen screw and then try to mag in my Glock 23.
It doesn't fit. I have a grip plug in my Glock 23 that jams into the allen screw in the grip extender.
Does anyone know of a grip extender that will not interfear with the grip plug? :crying: :dunno:

Here's a very simple and effective solution to your problem, but you won't want to hear it:
Carry a stock G23 mag in the gun. If you really believe you need more than 14 rounds, carry a spare mag.
Also, you don't need any "extender" to put a G22 mag in a G23. Just stick the mag in and go.

Steve...
Thank you for slapping me back to realality.
All that you need is a Glock, a Crimson Trace laser sight, and good ammo.
Carry a stock G23 mag in the gun. If you want more than 14 rounds, carry spare "G22" mags.
You don't need an extender to put a G22 mag in a G23. :drillsgt:

Thanks, but no thanks on the crimson trace. These sights are more of an irritant than a help. They cause you to focus on the sight display and you lose your tactical view of the environment.
Plus I have just heard that if a reflection hits you or your partner's retina, it may cause permanent damage. I read this in a Crimson Trace User Manaul " Use caution when activating the laser to avoid direct eye exposure, which can result in permanent eye damage."

Another very simple solution: remove your grip plug...thats your problem.
I have a 9mm conversion barrel for my G23, and for a 9mm magazine I bought on for the Glock 17 and an A&G grip extension. If fit fine, then I put a plug in the bottom of my Glock 23 and it wouldn't work. Take out the plug, it's useless anyways.

You could also relieve some material from the grip extender. It's just plastic you know.
Edited to add: Or just leave the allen screw out, it's not really necessary.
