Gold Dot

Does anyone have any major complaints about Gold Dot 45ACP 185gr HP? I am thinking of getting 500rds. I know I could buy a smaller sample to try but, then again, I may not have any trouble with a small sample. Your comments are welcome.

I've never tried the 185 gold dots.

But the only way to know for sure if a given round will function in your gun or not is to give it a try.

500 rounds isn't that many even if you do have problems with them.

The Nosler 185gr JHP are cheaper and they are very accurate.

I've had very good accuracy loading Oregon Trails 200gr LSWC for range work.

All I can tell you is the 230 grain gold dot is the only thing that doesnt feed 100% in my Kimber Pro carry.
