View Full Version : Scherer +2 for G21 Mags?
Anyone use these? Saw it on glockmeister, wouldn't mind having a 15 rd mag for my new 21SF...
I would forget it. This brand will just add to your frustration.
Take a look at the brownells catalog. They have the ones you want.

:) If I haven't thrown mine away, I'll be glad to let you have them (At least 4, maybe more) for $10.00. I might, still, have them. PM me if interested; and I'll go look.

I bought a mag for my G21 that had one installed already. Worked fine, until the stud in the insert broke. Since the insert won't stay in place anymore, it only holds 13 rounds, but still sticks out of the bottom of the grip.
I just wish Glock would do a factory +2 for the .45 and 10mm mags. The ones they make for the smaller frame guns work great from all accounts. They should also make a G18-style mag for calibers other than 9mm. People will buy them...

I use those on my 10mm mags for both the 20 and 29. No problems so far.

I have Scherer +0 extensions on my G26 mags and +1 on my G36. I also have some Pierce base plates on some G19 mags. Without looking I can't tell the difference and they are working well.

To whom it may concern:
These mags are junk I returned a Scherer +2 G17 mag to the dealer where I purchased it. The magazine would not lock in and the 2 + round extension was stretching my polymer plastic grip. I bought factory G17 mags today and they lock in place and the mag doesn't stretch the polymer plastic on my glock. Glock reliability and perfection.
Save yourself the time and frustration by buying the factory stuff and leave them aftermarket magazines to the trash cans they belong in. :laughabove:
