Magazine loader for the older adult?

I bought my mom a G26 which she loves to shoot, but because of her arthritic thumb it's hard for her to load the magazines. She just can't do it.

Does anyone have experience with a lula loader or some other type of magazine loader? Especially if you have arthritic hands...

For $25 to $30 the Uplula (http://glocktalk.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=694047) looks to be very good, and for about $10 the HKS is very good too.....depending on if she can thumb the lever down OK or not (it is a lot easier than loading the mag by hand).

If you go for the HKS, make sure you get a newer one that has the cut for the G26/27 mags, this one in the picture does not have it:

I have used the other two and have one of them. The UpLULA is brilliant. There is no comparrison - especially for arthritic hands. You put the magazine in place. Squeeze gently. Press down on the bench. DROP the cartridge into place. Relax the squeeze. Relax the pressure on the bench. Squeeze gently again and so on.

No sore thumbs. No inserts that fall out of place. I believe that the one unit handles nearly all pistol magazines and it certainly handles all Glock magazines with the possible exception of the .380s which I do not have.

+1 for the UpLula. Just got mine last week and love it. It seems to work with most handgun magazines. It had no problem with my various caliber Glock magazines as well as my 1911 single stack and H&K 45USP mags.

I like th HKS, but also enjoy the Glock factory loader. Just remember to but the mag on the table before you push down! I've seen alot of folks hold the mag and loader, thus defeating the purpose.
