Hex grip screws for Kahr?

Three searches pulled up zip...

I read somewhere that Colt Mustang grip screws worked in Kahrs. I also ready that the size and threading is identical to 1911 grip screws, but the 1911 screws need to be filed shorter.

Anyone have a source/info on hex grip screws for Kahrs, specifically MK9's?

Anywhere the 1911 short screws are sold (Brownells, Wilson, eBay etc). You may need to shorten those some, depending on your grips as the grips are not all that uniform. Your final test will be placing the magazine. If it fits without any resistance - great, otherwise screw(s) is too long. I have a set of a custom made wood grips and these required shorter screws and rubber grommets in the screw holes.

They will be listed as screws for thin grips. I went to all torx screws, same look and less prone to rounding off.
