I see this advertised by Glock. I have a G19. Is this worth buying?

Nope.

YMMV

Without even knowing what it is... I'm guessing it's some kind of recoil rod replacement?

No, you dont need it. Spend your money on ammo to become more proficient with your gun; dont waste money on doodads.

The answer is, "No"...frame battering is virtually a non-issue in Glocks. I might add that if you check you'll find although the part may be specified *FOR* a Glock it is not a part , *BY* Glock.

I have one. I'm almost ashamed to admit it. It does nothing for "recoil", but HAS stopped the parkerizing from rubbing off my slide where the recoil rod rubs. That counts for something, right? :)

Basically a waste of $$$.
