I just made some really good burgers.
2 lbs of burger
1 tsp salt (I used sea salt)
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper
1 tsp garlic powder
In 3 of the burgers I equally divided 4 oz. of blue cheese and pressed into the center. Grilled them. Mine was topped with a nice slice of red onion and Franks Hot Wing Sauce. Yummo.:grill: :drool:
I confess, I love hamburgers.
2 LBs Ground Sirloin
3/4 Cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp Garlic powder
1 tsp Onion powder
Let the meat marinate in the sauce for a bit. Then add the powders and mash it all together. Make into patties and grill.
Just before taking them off the grill, add a little oregano to taste. Top with Cracker barrel cheddar cheese slices. Yummy!!
I thnk I'll try your way next time I make them tho, that sounds tasty too.
We made blue cheese cheeseburgers last night. We used a stronger blue. They smelled like feet, but tasted good. Topped them with sauteed mushrooms and onions.
worchestire sauce with crumbled up bacon......great addition to ANY kind of burger.
1lb Ground Beef
1/2 Onion chopped fine
3 Cloves of Garlic chopped very fine
1/4 cup chopped Parsley
1 Tablespoon Oregano chopped
salt and pepper
mix and let stand for at least 2 hours in the fridge
Make a thin patty put a slice of Tomato and some Feta cheese on top and cover with another thin patty
pinch the edges to seal and cook as usual - fry or grill
