Does anyone make a steel receiver for an AR15?

IIRC, DPMS used to make a stainless steel lower.

It would be a heavy SOB for sure, why would you want a heavy lower?

DPMS does still make the stainless reciever. I guess if you use wood furniture steel recievers wont hurt lol.

Hmmm.....Steel huh? That might be good for a bench rifle wouldn't it? Where weight can be your friend? I'd buy one more or less for yucks than practicality. :banana:
