A red dot sight that is. I went with a Tru Glo from GanderMountain ($25) it sighted in very easily and after 300 rounds it is still zeroed. Man i should have listened to you guys and got one of these sights a long time ago they are very cool. here are a few pics of my sight and mount

also have a stupid question but on the right side of my peep sight there is the cut out of what apears to be a pellet????????? does anyone else have this on their gun? its a bushmaster if that helps

Is it the forging mark you're talking about? It's a small raised mark on the right side of the upper?

It's just a mark that the forge puts on there. That specific mark is from Cardinal.
Some uppers have a Keyhole like this...

Some will have an "A".... it just depends on where the aluminum blank came from. Many manufacturers get their blanks from a variety of different forges.

My Del-Ton M4 has the keyhole on it. What exactly does that mean? Nothing in particular?
