I recognize the importance of a quality bolt Assembly. I know that a few companies make the super-duper bolts, with lobster tail extractors and a milliopn silicone springs or whatever. I'm sure they're great, but I want a quality bolt assembly that has parts that can be replaced by a standard bolt assembly back up parts kit. I've heard the RRA bolts use forged parts or heat treated parts, and run better. I've been thinking of getting a Stag upper, so my question is: Are the Stag Bolt Assemblies high Quality and doe they function well?

Stag bolt are fine. I believe 100% of the bolts are MP tested now or they always were MP tested just not marked.

Yes, they do well. They MPI all of the bolts too (unlike most manufacturers, including RRA). There's nothing super special about them, but they are a great value.
I've noticed they are doing a slightly better staking job lately too.

I like using LMT bolts, they are all MP tested, and on the LMT website they get $66, G&R Tactical has them for $67, but you get the Crane upgrade package with it.....
