These are the simple mods I made to build what I consider to be my own personal ultimate NO B.S./SHTF carbine. Keeping it simple stupid.

Bushmaster M4A2 Carbine:

-Hogue rubber pistol grip

-Viking Tactical stock buttpad

-Smith Vortex flash hider

-PRI Gas Buster charging handle

-Magpul winter trigger guard

-GG&G CAR receiver end plate/single point sling mount

-The Wilderness single point sling and Giles SPQD

-XS 24/7 tritium stripe front sight

-BCM extractor upgrade kit(chrome silicon 5 coil HD spring,black insert,Crane o ring)

I also acquired 10 D&H(black teflon coated) and 20 Okay magazines and changed out the green followers for Magpul grey followers. Plus, the BM mag that came with the gun leaves me with 31 mags. How many mags is too many?

Ok, here is an old pic that I just found in an old email file. I'll get some better ones but this is all I could do for now. It's a HK USP Tactical that I'm shooting and I have a Glock 31 on my hip. Yes those ar empty shell casings in my ears. It's all I had at the time. Desperate times call for desperate measures.

very satisfied...both of them feel real nice in my hands...

haven't done much with the lasers...put the grips on without the batteries, as these are my first handguns and I want all my training to be with the sights themselves (Mepro night sights)...

but, I didn't want my grip to change down the road, so I went ahead and put the CT's on both...

I rarely use the laser myself. its mostly there for that possibility of a frantic middle of the night wake up.. might not have time to grab my glasses making sights useless. the laser is the best option for that situation imho. sounds like thats why you got yours too.

How do you like the silencer on the p22? I just got a p22 and am thinking about ordering a stainless one for mine.

I like it alot! I shoot it all over town. I work in a new subdivision so not occupied homes everywhere. was shooting the other day from the back of a walk out basement home and no one was the wiser. In fun factor alone it is worth doing. the outback or outback II can be found cheap, tac 65 is even a little less. I can't imagine shooting a .22 without it now.

Professional?Not hardly but thanks.It helps that my girlfriend has a $3k camera I get to play with.Add some Photoshop tweaking and you can get some good pictures.Hardest thing I have found(other than figuring out how to use all the damn buttons) is getting the lighting right.You also have to take a *****load of pictures to come out with a handful of good ones.

It is very accurate. You can pretty much hit the same hole at 100 yards. I have'nt shot it very much at all yet, but as far as UI can tell, it is a KEEPER. This one is the police model (700P). TWS means "total weapons package." It came custom from Remington with a alluminum bedded, free floating flutted bull barrell with 1/12 right hand, Leopold rings and base, Leopold Mark IV 3.5 10x 40 scope and Harris bi-pod. I bought it from a police officer friend recently whose son was almost killed in a wreck (he needed money quick.) It is currently at the gun smith being threaded for a YHM 3400 308 suppressor......By the way,...THANK YOU. :)

might not be the camera though... you'd be hard pressed to even find a modern cell phone camera take a pic that bad. my guess is you are trying to take a no flash picture with a digital camera holding it in your hands... that won't work. you need either proper lighting so flash is unnescisary or a stable platform to hold the camera on you may not think your shaking but just the pushing of the button can cause that.

I have a scope on it now but no updated pics.


I have several more guns but no pics of them at this time... One is a Savage .22 rifle that is again, pretty damn accurate and even moreso when you consider I paid about $96 for it when I was 11 years old (this was only six years ago, lol, my Dad bought it for me but I paid for it). The rest of them are single-shot shotguns.

I'm looking to get a G19 soon. I just have to find the right balance to my budget with college coming in August. I'll have the gun gifted to me by my Dad when I turn 18; until then it'll be at his house.

Thanks for the link! It's suprising how many folks are into Nylon 66's. That gun is a ?1966? version that was left to me by my late step dad. I learned to shoot on that gun back in the late 60's, it's still a great gun to shoot today. Lots of fun for plinking cans!
