but I'm posting it since the answer might be of interest to other CT laser owners.
One of my CT lasers is on a S&W 2 inch J frame.
I practice a lot with the gun/laser, 2-3 or more evenings a week. Almost all the ammo I shoot is my 158gr lead SWC reloads. As anyone that shoots lubed lead reloads knows, that is a very dirty load that quickly covers the gun with a dirty oily residue.
I've tried to clean the laser lens with the little Q Tip like cleaner and alcohol but it doesn't do much good.
Do you have a suggestion what could be used to get the oily, powder, lead, residue off the lens, that won't harm the unit?
Poor pictures but this is what it looks like.
About 4 foot distance.
