another j-frame chief age ?

just bought a used in near mint chief off of a retired cop and i would like to find out the original date of manufacture serial is as follows 343jxx, any info or input would be highly appreciated.

Cannot find any listing.
1950-69 was all numbers.
1969-82 was J and numbers.
82 on was 1J and numbers.

Maybe a newer list is out there?

thanks for the effort G33, i have never seen a serial number like this one, im wondering if it was a police issue firearm with a special serial#, he was a homicide detective in the Philadephia P.D., im wondering if he was issued this piece and bought it upon retiring, but im not sure if philly p.d. issued the model-36 for undercover and homicide.
