How many Walmarts do you know of that is discontinuing pistol ammo sales? It seems to be a growing trend:sad:

The only one I have ran into was a Walmart in Cherry Hill, NJ last year. I hope it is an anomaly, not the future.

Most in the Bay Area seem to no longer carry ammo. I understood this trend will continue throughout the US.

All the ones in the Sacramento area still sell them. I have stocked up on range ammo. I have been buying some every payday. Its going to suck if we have to be limited to how much we can buy at one time, and if they will require us to show ID.

Tulare CA has ammo but went up from 11.99 to 14.89 for winchester white box 9mm 100 ct. They still sell the heck out of it so I don't think they will discontinue any time soon.(fingers crossed)

Walmart in Van Nuys doesn't sell ammo but Simi Valley does. Yes, the price went up after Christmas, the .223 used to be $4+ but went up to $6+ for 20 rds.

I went into a Pismo Walmart and they have heard nothing of walmart not selling ammo. I chalk that up to good news.

But the .40 S&W WWB 100 pack was still $19.99.

Walmarts in our area still sell rifles as well as ammo.

New one opening soon - it will be interesting to see if they continue to offer both.

oops - Daphne, Alabama.

Same here in Sacramento. WWB .40 is $19.99. I just bought 2000 rounds. My fiend who is a manager told me they are gonna go up to $23.99 a box in the next 3 months. Price of brass and steel is going to drive the price up.

 That's not good, but at least it is still cheaper than everywhere else local, or for that matter even on some "cheap" line places
