View Full Version : Crimson Trace/Lefthander
I saw where a leftie had asked about problems he might have with the CT, but didn't see where he got a reply. It looks to me like my right thumb would be lased instead of the target. I'd appreciate some guidance/info.
I've got Crimson Trace on my primary G23 and my Mod. 36 BUG.
As a lefty, all you do is lock your left thumb down underneath the diode and keep your right thumb high and free.
Crimson Trace is the most signifigant upgrade to personal defense firearms since the Glock 17. :drillsgt:

I shoot left hand a good bit, but mostly one hand.
Holding the J Frame Smith or Kimber left hand/two hands I can't get my right thumb in front of the laser.
I can see because of different holds, hand size, etc, it could be possible to block the laser with the right thumb. I believe that would be unusual though and easily corrected.
Cross-draw aside, what about holstering?

Yeh I wouldnt worry about it to much I'm a righty and I use to worry some about my index finger in the way, thats probly more likely to happen than you with your thumb.
