I am considering a tactical light and I like the Streamlight TLR-1 but I also am curious about the Streeamlight M3. Does anyone have any experience with either of these.
Streamlight makes good stuff!
I've examined the TLR-1 and it is a very nice light at a great price! :thumbsup:
I have Surefire's X200 A&B, and the TLR-1 offers performance somewhere between the two, at less than half the price.
Most would agree that LED-based illumination is the way to go for a weapon-mounted light. While ultimately not as bright as incandescent lamps (yet), they're still plenty bright for the task.
Consider the advantages of an LED weapon-light:
. Virtually impervious to shock!
. Service life measured in thousands of hours!
. 40+ percent efficiency (vs. 6%)--batteries last a lot longer!
