Factory Meps

My Glock 22 that is on order will have the factory Meprolights installed. Is the front sight attached with a screw or is it pinned in like the plastic sights? I want to get some adjustables.

If they're like mine on my G21, the front sight is staked on, rather like the way a rivet flares open to fasten. A punch and hammer would remove this, but that front sight is a one-time deal.

FWIW, the sights have held up just fine for thousands of rounds.

Just curious; why order the gun with the added expense of night sights, if you plan to exchange them?

They are staked on,first thing I learned about buying Glocks is buy my own night sights we learn as we go.Thats not saying that the factory NS are awful or anything,there better than the regular sights.
