G34 sight choice

Well this is my first post, nice site with lots of knowledge.I had a G17 once upon a time and actually used it on my IPSC "black badge" course. Great pistol no problems. I had "Glockworks" do the sights and replace the guide rod, top shelf work and I see that they are on the board. Overall its seems like a good bunch of troops here.

Ok so I shot the TDSA AP1 course and my USP performed well, I'm still getting used to the LEM. I'm going with a G34 since it is more along the lines of what I'll be using for work. That said whether to order it with fixed or adjustable sights? change them right away? most of my sight knowledge is with Novaks and Heinie. I'm going to give the factory sights ago which ever I choose and see how I like it. Well lets hear any "been there done that". Cheers

Save you $20 bucks and go with the standard fixed sights on your G34. Then, if it doesn't work out, you can always install some TruGlo TFO or other reputable sight configuration.

Personally, I use regular black Heinie Slant-Pros on all of my Glocks, competition or carry. I used to use a Heinie rear and a Dawson fiber optic front, but I like the standard sights better. One sight picture, no confusion.

I like the Heinie S8 sights with the CGR race cut, it is a good balance in between speed and precision.
