I thought everything was in place, and pulled the trigger. Now the trigger is locked back. When i took the trigger and the bar behind it out, things went flying, I thought I found everything, now i'm wondering if I lost something, or just put it back together in the wrong order...
Revolver smithing is a bit out of my league. I always thought things in there look complicated.

Haha, yea. It was def a learning experience. It's neat knowing how they work. I'll post a pic of mine, which is still open :)
Did you replace the rebound spring and hammer spring and put the hammer safety in correctly?

Good news is I don't think I lost anything. After Googling around, I found that I may need a tool from Brownells to put rebound spring back in. I can get it in with a flat head, but it doesn't sit right under the hammer, any tricks?
You can accomplish the same thing by using a small phillips screwdriver. As long as the head of the driver fits inside the rebound slide and is able to compress the spring, your good to go. Just be carefull, you have to exert some pressure on the spring to compress it into the rebound slide to get it behind the rebound stud.

Thanks 40,
Now i just need to get the hammer in the right place at the same time, seems when i get the rebound spring in, the hammer is either inf ront of it rebound slide's bump, or behind it...

I reckon it will get back together eventually:supergrin:

When everything seems to be working properly try pointing the empty gun at the ceiling (unless people live above you) and pull the trigger a bunch of times. Watch the cylinder. If it fails to turn when it should, then you have made a simple error in reassembly. The lever that turns the cylinder (A/K/A the hand or pawl) should have forward pressure from the little spring in the trigger, if assembled correctly. Without the forward pressure the gun will work most, but not all, of the time when held horizontally. At even a slight muzzle up angle the pawl will fall back and not engage the cylinder even though the action fires.
Made that mistake once and it really baffled me for awhile.

Interesting, ill try that, thanks.
Once I found the pin and put it back together, I took out for 100 rounds. I'll check the ceiling thing though.
