SAIGA 12 conversions?

I'm thinking of buying one of these straight-stocked SAIGA 12 gauges and converting it to look like an AK-47. Anyone have any experience with these? How hard/easy is it to do? I've heard it can be done in a day or so with a drill press and a few other tools.

I thought it was pretty easy....at the very least straight forward. I did mine at my kitchen table using a power drill, Dremel, and hand files. Do it quick, I got lucky and found my gun used for less than $400 OTD a few months ago. The prices on these guns are getting a bit out of hand.

Thanks Method, looks like I'm going shopping after work. Thank goodness I got a divorce. Doing my work at the kitchen table would have gotten me in trouble.

Pretty easy to convert....the trigger guard was the hardest for me becuase I used a regular AK TG and riveted it....there are easier ways to do that.
