Edited to say, the lower map is satellite image of just cloud cover. The colors that look like intense rain is just indicating cloud thickness. Top map is pure precip.

I wished we would get some of that down here. No rain here in a month, 2 inches in the last three months. Things are dire here. Seems the central part of this country has had MORE water than they can hadle, while the Southeast has had dismal amounts. :sad:

I was at my daughter's last night and they got a GOOD soaking rain.

My son-in-law said he could hear the grass growing. Everything looked so GREEN in their yard this morning.

I don't know if we got any or not...have to ask my hubby!

I've seen it rain across the street, while we stayed perfectly dry!
