Following is the text of an email from The West Virginia Citizens Defense League announcing a reciprocity agreement has been reached between WVa and Ohio--and several other states. No confirmation yet from the Ohio AG.
"Today, West Virginia Attorney General Darrell McGraw announced that he has signed concealed handgun license reciprocity agreements with the states of Florida, North Carolina, Ohio, and South Dakota. These agreements will allow residents of those states who have concealed handgun licenses to carry in West Virginia and West Virginia licensees to carry in those states. These are in addition to our existing reciprocity agreements with Kentucky and Virginia.
For more information, see http://www.wvago.gov/press.cfm?ID=350&fx=more
WVCDL will be working with Attorney General McGraw to expand coverage of reciprocity agreements to other states and with the Legislature to pass a universal recognition law in 2008."
