In today's ever increasing Internet based world, customer service seems to be a thing of the past...
THIS IS NOT THE CASE for MIDWEST INDUSTRIES!!!
I recently purchased a MCTAR-20 Free Float Forearm for my new STAG CAR upper. Upon installation, (my haste) I cracked the rail due to operator error (I rushed and overtightened it).
I was bummed to say the least, and thought I was out $185 + tax.
I emailed Midwest...
Hi, I purchased a MCTAR-20 for my new STAG upper (purchased locally today from Ameetec). Upon installation I heard a "tink" and have now noticed a crack at the rear of the hand guard where the upper and lower pieces connect (screw together)….
Am I SOL?
What is your policy on this?
Thanks,

Today, my new forearm arrived. I'm elated. Midwest never asked for proof of purchase, nor did they ask for me to send back the damaged unit as "proof".
My hat is off to Midwest. I will be purchasing Their FF Forearm for my rifle in the coming weeks.
Midwest industries is worthy of "your business" as well in the future.
