Lasermax recil spring very stiff!

Finally... after much pushing and forcing, I managed to correctly seat the Lasermax into it's position into the barrel link notch.

However, to feed a round is difficult and I was NOT able to manually 'lock the slide' open.

The dealer states: the recoil spring will loosen after a 'bunch' of rounds.

Anyone else have this supposed tightness on their Glock 21 SF with lasermax?
