Are there any larger capacity mags than the 13rd mags for .40? I know Scherer makes a 31rd magazine, but I heard their mags are garbage and their mag springs suck. Does Glock make one?

I have a Scherer 31 rounder, it aint so bad for range only use. You can get g-22 mags that hold 15 rounds. Also you can get the +2 extensions, but all those are crap and only add 1 round on newer mags.
Nope.
The 15 round G22 mag is their biggest, it will work OK in a G23 though, and a +2 mag cap (from Glock) can be added, but it usually only allows one more round in .40.
There are other quality, non-Glock mag extensions made, check out Taylor Freelance and Arredondo Accessories.

15 rounds of .40 S&W isn't enough?

The 31 rounder(mine holds 34 or 35 now) is a heck of alot fun at the range tho!
First it is not a "Large capacity" it is "High capacity".
I like to call them "regular capacity".
