Better "target" sights?

I currently have the Ameriglo Smooth Operators and feel that while the sights would work well for close quarters combat, the front post is just too darn thick at 25 yd+.

Are there any better "target" iron sight options for the G17? I don't want to shoot for sub-MOA groups, but I did manage to get about a 1" sized 5-shot group at 25 yd using a sandbag rest, so I know the gun is capable of good groups. I just need better sights and more practice.

Just get the Ameriglo steel rears and thin front.
