17L performance

I shot at the Jackson GSSF event today with my 17L. It definitely delivered better performance than my 19. I love that loooong sight radius! I would definitely recommend this gun or a 24 or a 34 or 35!

I don't believe I've ever fired a 17L. Sure would like to!

I never competed with my 17L and I will be too busy working the Indy GSSF match to do so next weekend (I am a paid employee of the range, so work is pretty much expected of me), but I can definitely see how it would be an advantage. I love mine.

I've been thinking of IPSC with my 17L. I have one of the last set of Heinie traditional sights on order for a fast, accurate sight picture.
I'm selling my Dawson FO adjustables.

Winchester subsonic ammo shoots soft and accurate for top speed.

I think the 17L would put me in the unlimited 10 catagory with all the race guns though.

Well Steve come on down here to Florida, and you can shoot My 17-L & 24 all you want.
I'll take you down and introduce you to Bowling Pin Shoot Florida Style.
We always have a good time, and Win Loose or Draw it's still Trigger Time and that is always fun.

You wouldn't have to load so many mags if you'd put more then 1 or 2 rounds in them :wavey:

I finally got to shoot a 17L today! Very sweet gun.
