Botach Tactical !!!

I just put in another order with these guys , ordered 5 glock 19
mags .Called around 12 O'clock and they shipped out already !!! :thumbsup: :thumbsup:

All I have to do is get the G19 !!!

I've heard some negitive things about Botach, but my experiences have been great.

So you bought 5 new mags, 2 will come with the gun, which equals 7 mags. You need at least 3 more + some 33rd mags. That is where I'm at right now. I'm trying to get at least 10 mags per gun. :thumbsup:

always good to hear reviews but you never said anything about the price of the mags or shipping. id much rather have a company ship product the next day if im going to be saving 10 or15 bucks compared to a company that ships the same day.

I won't order from them again. They back ordered a mag that I ordered and held up the whole order without telling me what was going on. After a couple of e mails sent and two weeks of waiting, I finally got my order without the back ordered mag.

I will stick with OMB Express from now on.

Yeah OMB Express is good , but they charged me tax with my last order , didn't find out until I paid . Call them up to ask what was that all about , I told them it doesn't say they charge taxes anywhere !They told me it was in the F&Q's !!!:upeyes:

botach can be pretty sketchy on their customer service, but for cheap stuff like mags they're ok.

Never had any problems with them , and all the mags I got from them are fine and brand new ! What kind of stuff did you get ?

Be sure to use a credit card when purchasing, so you have some leverage when (oops, if) they fail to deliver: I made the stupid mistake of sending them an order with a personal check, after verifying the parts (a couple pairs of Silencio electronic hearing protectors and a holster) were on-hand; they never shipped the Galco M7X, and they've long since ceased to reply to my e-mail messages asking them to fulfill the order or refund the balance.

My experience suggests they're thieves.

for about 15.00 more I can get 5 hi-cap glock mags down the street at a gun store from a bud who works there, their over 30.00 to the public now... I have heard enough bad about botac to be traumafied to place an order there, their prices are attractive though!!!

I got my G20 mags for $15.00 brand new from OMB. I have ordered from them 5 or 6 times and they have never let me down! And last time I ordered, they had a special that if you order $150.00 or more they pay shipping!

Many of us judge customer service on how they deal with problems and how often are there problems. If you get them, great. If you don't, you have a problem.

I placed an order thru Bo Tact too. Was back ordered initially (G19 mags).

I called a couple times over a two week period and was notified it was shipped. Arrived as promised.

Desert Scorpian aka www.Glock-Doc.com has posted here. I read many varing reviews but decided to take a chance on a small order. (2 G19 mags) $ 38.00 shipped across the country.

Arrived in a week and I'd buy from him again.

I'm referring to Botach not Botac and I'm not sure if they are the same company or not but, I've ordered about a dozen times from them and never had bad service or a problem. If you watch Botach website you can get Glock mags for $12.95 each. I’ve ordered a couple of different times when mags are on special and have always received my products quickly. I highly recommend them. But that's been my experience.:thumbsup:

Everytime I check CDNN the mags they have cost a fortune.

CDNN's are $16.99-they actually show up in a prompt manner, and you can talk to a human.

For a $2 savings it just isn't worth it.

That's funny you say that , because I've seen some pictures of glock mags in wrapping ...... but I NEVER got one in a factory bag , and I have like 30 GLOCK mags from different on-line stores . And I've ordered from a lot of places .....

They must have had their problems because I have seen all the negatives. Over the past year and a half I have over 12 orders with no issues, I got some great deals including the Insight M6X for $179.
Today I was looking for 2 Extra G27 11 Round mags (9 + factory installed extension). Well only one palace had in stock at a great price and I received my UPS tracking number in two hours. Yes it was Botac. Why not limit the negative responses to the past year maybe they got their act together.

3 months of calling to ask about my order and they had a different answer each time.

"It shipped last week."
Then, next week, "Oh, it was out of stock."
"The other thing you ordered" [I didn't order the other thing] "was on backorder, so we didn't send nothin." -- a direct quote
"Uh, that order number says it doesn't, like, exist, or somethin'" -- another direct quote.
"Did you want that shipped to your house?" -- that would be the address I entered when I placed the order, yep.
And my personal favorite, "Are you sure it was us you ordered it from?"

Botach is trying to take care of everybody ! Today I got an e-mail from them ..... it was a questionnaire on how they did and what I though of them .

So maybe they had a bad rep in the past but they are trying to do better !:thumbsup:

I'm well aware of the issues some have had with Botac as reported here from time to time and no doubt, they make mistakes and some are a pain to get resolved. That said, I've ordered a number of times and have never had any problem of any kind. I should qualify my comments with the fact I've only ordered online (no phone-in) and never ordered gun parts from them...mostly, lights, batteries, clothing, footwear, etc.

I have had three orders with Botach and all were without any problems. I also received free shipping on all three orders. I'll keep shoping with them. As a matter of fact they are the only dealer I buy Glock & Sig mags from. Yaw just leave that many more mags for me.

I'd order what you want and not what you need, they can take forever to fill orders. This certainly should give you a feel for this company. I think there more into big goverment and LEO bussiness than web/street traffic.

Call the AG's office, file complaints with BBB, call their chamber of commerce etc.

I have posted several positive replies about my Botach experience. That has all changed. I ordered 3 mags and a holster on 7/8/07. When they didn't ship right away and I saw they had lowered the mag price I try to find out if the order had shipped. No reply to my email or phone message about status. I sent an email to cancel the order but have no reply and the order does not show canceled when I check the status. They have not charged my card but it is disappointing after many positive experiences. If they ship I will just refuse the order and dispute the charges.

I'm still trying to get it straightened out, to bad they won’t answer the phone or my emails, and trying to take me to collections because they forgot to charge me is a freaking joke. (I doubt they can but it’s still annoying, and it says lots about them as a company.)

And they never did get the order right, I tried 3 times to get the items that I ordered and just I accepted what they gave me hoping they would get it right the next time… They flat out lied to me over the phone telling me that they had the item in stock and they were putting it in the box right that instant and would have it shipped out with in 20min, 2 weeks later I’m wondering where my package is, so I email them, and when I got no answer I gave them a bad review on yahoo, and the next day they rush it out the door forgetting to charge me, and of course its my fault they rushed… and they sent the wrong item anyways, and the seal was broken and the OC was expired... totally useless to me.
