New, to me, VT1100 Sabre

Buddy of mine had just bought this, and then found out he could not afford it for whatever reason...I think its due to the fact he dropped it and dented the tank a bit, and bent the clutch lever and was honestly embarrassed by it..
He calls me up last week and asks if I would be interested, since he knew that I was working on my XS1100S Yahmaha and I told him I would come look at it.

Tank wasnt bad, and I am going to have it repainted anyway, clutch lever is like $10 from Honda...and it had new rear rubber and only 5100 miles on it.

Cobra jet kit, Cobra pipes, and sissy with rack. I am not a fan of V twins, but it rode good and for $3100 it came home with me.

Now if Honda will allow more than that in trade on a new VTX1300R....LOL

I would not have a problem with riding it till it was kaput. I bought this for $2500 cause a guy dropped it ,with 1k miles and he had enuf.
I leave the dent in the tank just to show (I saved it from a cell phone moron) People do the same thing for dogs and cats (me too).

Was gonna take it to the Dragon this weekend, but some buttmunch stole one of my helmets and my front bag yesterday.
Went looking for a new helmet today, and no ones got plain black in stock..so if I DO go Sunday, its gonna be solo...

So far so good...now if that lever would just come on in...
