sir charlie-xray, i wouldn't know kasi most of the time its detached from the glock and i can only recall a few times that i've tried to use it... and so far, no unusual wear on the glock...

Any feedback on the durability and performance of the Streamlight TLR-1 that you have on your Glock? Have you tried shooting with the light activated? How was it? How good is the throw of the LED as compared to incandescent weaponlights?

this is my first weaponlight, sir. so i'm not in a position to make a comparison.

the tlr1 is pretty adequate, though. malakas na for home use. i like the light better than my g2 nitrolon.

no, i have not shot with the tlr1 on.

maybe i should do that soon.

Hi Poodle, I bought the +2 base pad sa Glockparts.com (on-line) together with 1pc.stainless recoil guide with captive spring and plug. Took around 1.5 weeks, delivered sa bahay. Yes, naging 15rnds yung mag capacity ko and reliable naman (so far).:)

My friends glock mag extension is made of aluminum and it scratches the frame, so please try to avoid those. IMHO If the ext mag release is made of polymer then it's ok.

The one on the G17 is DecalGrip pre-cut which is sort of rubbery in texture. Meron konting discomfort when it rubs on the skin but its tolerable and not as severe as would cause skin abrasions as well as scratch your slide finish like the 3M kind bought in hardware stores.

On the G26 when the picture was taken was the 3M which I had installed only for a very short time. Had the same experience as yours so I replaced it with an inner tire tube of my son's bike.

I also have Hogue slip on but the grip becomes too thick when installed. If you are after functionality and not aesthetics, the best is a bicycle's inner tire tube, in my experience.:)

Neil is right,I tried Hogue, Pachmayr and Grip tape , but i use the inner tube of bike tires now. IMHO 3m grip tape is ok just don't put it on the side that contacts your skin.

Im using a houge rubber grips now. It really fits well on my hand. Installing and removing is a problem though

Plus one on the Decal Grip. Very comfy on the hands during conps. Provides very good traction without significantly enlarging the grip.
