View Full Version : I got a new toy today.
I looked at a North American Arms .22lr Mini last week and went back today and bought it. In and out in 15minutes with a new toy. I like this state when it comes to that. In Illinois i would be waiting 72hrs from the time they called in the check.
I know it has its limitations but I already love the little guy.
Let us know how accurate it is. I've been looking at one myself.
At 7 yards doing point and shoot i had all 5 shots on a 8.5x11 piece of paper. There really isnt much of a sight other than a blade on the tip of the barrel. If for carry you have to remember its inteneded purpose is for deep concealment when nothing else will work. I would say max range is 7 yards with the 1 1/8 barrel and thats pushing it.
A comparison shot with a Glock 22, Glock 27, S&W Model 36 Chiefs Special, and a old Motorola V551 Cell phone

At least it hit the paper. I had a .45/410 Derringer once and you couldn't hit the broad side of a barn with it.
I almost bought one just like that before just for the novelty of it. I have a P-3AT for deep concealment and really would not want to go any smaller than that. But the fact they make a belt buckle holster for it is too cool. I may have to get one some day, just because.
