View Full Version : Bushmaster wait ?
I ordered a new Bushmaster complete lower with adjustable stock, from Bushmaster, on April 18th and I still don't have it. Dealer has checked several times and they are still behind.
Anyone else having troubles getting their products for AR's ? Am I just lost in a Bushmaster beaurocracy ? Wow. Almost three months. I know they had some mil orders but man, you would think by now things would be a little better.

I'm having the same problem waiting for my RRA upper. They said 8-12 weeks...from what I understand it's an industry-wide thing.
Ouch.
I ordered some barrels from Bushmaster on the first week of May and they told me it would be up to 12 weeks before I got them.
They arrived about the 15th of June.
I didn't think six weeks was a bad wait for the barrels, three months for a rifle could be upsetting. Good luck, godspeed, and good things come to those who put up with the waiting game.

Same for me... Ordered a Bushy stripped lower around the beginning of May, I think. Still no joy.
I hope something happens soon. I'm getting tired of the wait. If I knew of an in-stock STAG, I might snatch it up instead. I think the market is tight right now.
hey hi, i ordered a new 16"barrel with a phantom suppressor plus some other goodies last wednesday and they arrived on monday the 2nd....
great service for me, sorry for you guys.....

Well, I called the dealer today who called Bushmaster. Bushmaster said they have shipped and it should be in no later than this coming Monday 7/9/07.
We'll see.
Yes ! It came in today. Ordered April 18 and arrived today. I know Bushmaster is supplying mil contracts so I didn't complain. The dealer gave me half off his cut.
Good to hear Bushmaster still kept to their end of the bargain.
They say they will ship within 12 weeks and I don't remember any time when they don't get the items to the customer well within the time frame. Kudos to them.
So what do you think of your new rifle??
I ordered a complete lower carbine stock. It is pristine and very nicely done. A little tight going on but I appreciate the close tolerances. I'm impressed with the attention to detail and manufacturing quality, as usual with Bushmaster.

What US miltary units are issued Bushmasters now? I didn't know that.
Good luck with your new rifle.
I thought they were by their own words. Maybe I read too much into their statement ?

Barrels, their barrel manufacturer is a US Government contractor.
Bushmaster sold a large order to the Illinois State Police, then had to rebuild the rifles because of zeroing issues.
They made some M4 carbines that were issued to god knows who, (read this as probably spooks), during the first gulf war.

I didn't mean to dispute you, Sarge.
I have seen the same write up you posted before, but I had never actually seen that BM's were ever issued to US troops. Again, I may be, and probably am mistaken.
I know Blackwater was affiliated with Bushmaster at one time, but I think that's changed as well. Sig now??
I'm not offnded at all. I remembered hearing or reading that but then you got me thinking. After a little backtracking and searching I found where I had gotten it. You're OK CT. No probs.
