A couple of months ago I got one for $279 with Pachmayr wraparound grips, lots of holster wear and some dings.

I tried it out today with some Fiocchi 115 gr. FMJ. The groups were bad because I haven't shot for 6 months:sad: but tightened up after some practice.

No malfunctions.

Next time I'll try it with JHP.

Maybe I'll carry it.

Congratulations.

I passed on one of those almost a year ago. It's one of my gun-buying regrets.

My consolation is that the one I passed on was some sort of fancy finish, and was probably too nice to shoot.

Mine won't work with 147 grain ammo, because it's too long to feed properly. Other than that it's been 100% reliable with ball and jhp's.
