Fantastic carry piece and better yet with 125gr's in the maxium range, but DAMN  that little bugger kicked so hard, it took a layer of flesh right off my trigger finger!! :help: :scared:

Love the gun, but was contemplating on getting the matching .44Mag. Uh no thank you.
That little .357 kicked harder than any of my .44 and .500 loads ever...
That is all

I rented one of those at the range recently and put some hot rounds through it. It did put a bit of a spanking on my hand but my 500 still has it beat.

The Scandium 44 is the heaviest recoiling gun that I have shot.

I think GA Arms is trying to put themselves out of business with their new web design. I gave up trying to navigate it the other day.

No doubt smitty! I'm skeered of it already
I think I'll stick with my .500 and 440gr cast loads for recoil fixes.

gwalch,
Give them a call, great folks to do business with.

Give them a call, great folks to do business with. I know. I'm a local and have been doing business with them for years. It's been a while since I hit their website, though, and I went there the other day and was really surprised at how hard it was to navigate.

Yeah its a PIA for sure.
I shoulda called them last week, but instead made an hour drive to the gun show only to find no .308 blasting ammo left. Only Match type 20round boxes...

I wouldn't even shoot .357Magnum Golden Sabres out of that revolver.

Georgia arms makes great ammo. I always load up at gun shows.

I would be willing to bet I won't either. :)

Love their ammo - and reloading lead. I'm just NE of Birmingham - less than a hundred miles from them. They quit doing the AGCA gun shows, three a year at the BJCC, but I still looked for them this past weekend - in vain. UPS is high for that distance. Meister Bullets will ship in a USPS 'Flat Rate' box for $10 - cheaper by far.

The only problem ammo I've bought from them was their hot & nasty .32 H&RM 100gr JHPs - made 1,186 fps from my BHG 4.6" SSM - and nastified it into uselessness in 30 rounds. Their 158gr LHPSWC +P .38's are a steal at $17.50/100. Nice folks - they are experiencing the same difficulties we are in getting primers & brass.

I just ordered a box of 50 DoubleTap 158 gr. Gold Dots, rated at 1400 FPS from a 4" barrel. My gun is an all-steel model 65 with 3" barrel, and (from what I've read) S&W specifically recommend firing only 158 grain bullets through it. So I must comply.

The little 110 grain WWB rounds I fired today were pretty snappy. I can't wait to see what the DoubleTaps feel like.

I just ordered my .357 reloading dies and some bullets, but I'm gonna load my practice ammo to .38 Special velocities, using .357 Magnum cases so I don't burn the chambers farther back.

I've been shooting their 200gr. 45acp SWC's and love them.
