Try Davidson's / Gallery of Guns. They usually have them.try the power search feature and select Steyr from the pull down menu. They show the 308 with camo stock.

Best price I can get is $1900.00 without the scope/rings etc from the Davidson deal, emailed a dealer, I like the idea of the camo, looks good.
Anyone give me any feed back on the Steyr Scout Rifle. I like the idea of a box feed rifle. Will be used mainly for fun and a quick varmit gun when visiting other ranches for hogs and maybe deer if I get a chance to go hunting. Basically was looking for an all around rifle that could do it all and this one kept coming up.

I picked one up several years ago without scope, rings or sling.Iput it together with a Leupold IER 2.8 scout scope, Leupold QR rings and a scout sling from Galco. The sling swivels were from millet. It is a great rifle, light accurate and easy to hit with. So far its accounted for one mule deer and one bull elk. You can get close with a Ruger Frontier rifle but it lacks the features of the steyr. If you buy one and shoot it you will know where the money went.
